Description
The project involves the complete design and implementation of a new student college for False Bay College (TVET) in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. The site is sandy and has existing Strandveld Fynbos that will be incorporated in the Landscape Design of the project. The location of the site presents challenges in providing a sheltered area for students to congregate and socialise in between classes. The design approach has been student focused with a strong emphasis on reduced road traffic withing the campus environment and Landscaping to soften and pedestrianise the internal campus facility.Location
